In addition to the traditional services, a critical component of our services has always been to provide our clients with an understanding of their Budget and Credit position before they purchase a home. Buying a home can be complex and stressful, but allowing our clients to fully comprehend what they can afford makes it a much more positive experience. SIA is in its fourth year of working with the Home Retention process and its complexities. Due to the recent changes in the law designed to protect the consumer, our home retention processing department will no longer assist in the processing modifications for the client. We have decided to continue to assist the homeowner by using our SIA tool as a pre-screening program that empowers the homeowner to decide whether to keep their home or short sale their home. In addition we have incorporated the services of Lexington Law as part of our SIA Solution Program to provide answers that meet the needs of the Real Estate Professional and his client.

We want to thank all of the individuals with whom we spoke and worked who have given us the valuable and vital information to move forward with this project. Including the 100's of homeowners who shared their stories, individuals at HUD, FannieMae, FreddieMac, U.S.Treasury, Bank of America, Chase, Wells Fargo, the many smaller lenders and the servicing companies as well as members of the California and Federal Legislative Branches.

Please be advised: Our team at SIA Solutions Services does not see the current Home Retention programs and systems currently being used as satifactory resolutions for the homeowner. They require serious review and critical change in order for our financial climate to have the chance to once again become prosperous. That said, we do believe that there are some lenders and other individuals in the industry who are considering the missing elements and have demonstrated a well-intentioned step toward resolving the present crisis.
